Bla.st Update
I previously wrote about advertising concept Bla.st. Well here is the update on how things are going.
I am currently paying $0.22 a day to have the Tap Blog Card displayed at around the top of the main page. So far, after around a week since adding the card I have received a very reasonable amount of clicks. From what im seeing so far, it looks as though this is as cost effective as PPC advertising.
I would be interested in knowing just how much traffic the #1 ranked card receives. Also interested in knowing if people who added a free card are getting any clicks?

All the stats for all the cards are public - switch to “big” or “details” view. Details view shows the clicks each card has has, and clicking “more…” or “details” on the big view takes you to that cards stats.
Some of the free cards that have been on for a while have amassed a few hundred clicks. It really depends on what your advertising and how well your card design works.
Generally clicks and views are still pretty low, but bla.st is growing, and traffic is slowly increasing. Also we get the odd burst of publicity. We’re also working on some ways of getting bla.st cards out onto the wild web…
